Sweet Fellowship

Sweet Fellowship via Polyvore

A little Sunday style for all of you. This Sunday was our last home fellowship group for the summer, and I'm a little sad we're taking a break!

This may just be one of my favourite outfits. I really wanted to wear this navy dress, which was gifted to me two Christmases ago by my sisters-in-law. The only trouble is that the top is a bit revealing! I paired it with a raspberry cropped cardigan I've owned forever, and this fun bird-print scarf that I also received as a gift. Voila! Problems solved, and it looks just perfectly put-together for a Sunday afternoon.

This post is linking up to the Fashion & Faith link party! Click through to see more beautiful (and modest) outfits, including an incredible pink and lime pairing by Ruby Girl.

Fire and Ice

Fire and Ice

Fire and Ice on Polyvore

A little glimpse at my two favourite colours for spring; coral and mint green. I'm so glad these colours are getting attention this season! They're universally flattering and easily work into any wardrobe because it only takes a few pieces to really make an impact.

Check out the selection above for ideas, but definitely don't miss out on Sinful Colors Nail Enamel in Island Coral. I've been wearing the heck out of that nail colour since my honeymoon in the Bahamas last summer and I just can't stop!

Teacher's Aide

Teacher's Aide on Polyvore

Today I had to help teach a course during a workshop my workplace organized. We had students from all around the globe and a few had never been to the States, so to help welcome them to Nashville properly I broke out my cowboy boots.

This particular pair of boots are the Tony Lama Vaquera Collection II in Tan Santa Fe. They have subtle white and light blue stitching on a perfect shade of medium-brown leather. The gorgeous toe looks great both peeking out from under jeans or fully exposed and paired with dresses. I picked up my pair from Zappos a couple of years ago, and I'm surprised to see they're still carrying the same pair.
